Regional and international partnerships
Cluster aims to create and maintain relationships and partnerships with international research and innovation agencies, universities, research centers, accelerators and science parks. The current partnerships include:
Cluster has signed two cooperation agreements with UWI and CCIC. Furthermore Cluster has created cooperation with several international cluster and innovation organizations.
The following regional and international partnerships have been completed by the financial aid of the GEF-6 project and Bloom Cleantech Cluster since May 2019.
- MoU signed with CCIC
- MoU signed with UWI, Cave Hill Campus
- Associate Member of International Association of Science parks (IASP)
- Climate KIC training provided for the 6 startup teams in Barbados
- 2 startup teams participated to the Climate launchpad finals in the Netherlands in November 2019
- Financial training for the BIDC and Cluster staff provided by the UNIDO
- Cooperation established with Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI)
