The Barbados BLOOM Cleantech Cluster embarks on a series of developmental workshops for its members The Barbados BLOOM Cleantech Cluster, hosted its first in a series of hybrid workshops aimed at providing its clients with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to not only operate more efficiently in the business world, but also to develop their businesses, brand, and market share. On May 24th, 2023, Mr. Antoine Williams of Sun Visions Media Services made a presentation to members of the Cluster at the debut session under the topic Media Relations 101.

Attendees enjoyed an engaging and dynamic session that introduced them to media communication and how to effectively identify, target, and appeal to their target audience. One incubatee referred to the session as timely, noting that these types of training sessions help him keep prepared for occasions when he is called upon to speak publicly.

The Bloom Cluster is taking steps towards relaunching as Bloom 2.0, with more interactive sessions, under its new manager, Dr. Terrell Thompson, who took over from Mr. Jari Aaltonen on April 30th, 2023. The cluster will offer its second workshop on social media management in June and plans to increase its promotional efforts in the coming months to welcome new innovative products and services within the renewable energy space.
